Playwright Desiree King drops her NYC apartment to pursue an offer to write for TV in LA: the job of her dreams. Only after she makes it back to her hometown does Desiree discover that her dream-come-true might actually be a nightmare. 

Derailed may or may not be based on Angelica's actual career transition experience. We'll tell you later. 

The Pilot was selected as one of five semi-finalists for Showtime's Tony Cox Episodic Screenplay Competition in the 2017 Nantucket Film Festival.
